How many rounds have you played in the last 4 weeks

my the post underneath about Jim's trip to N Wales and your responses about how bad the weather has been recently got me wondering how many rounds everyone has been able to play

For me it was twice. Once on Dec 27 at Aldburgh in Suffolk where it was cold but sunny and the course dry underfoot and once on Dec 29 at Princes in a GM office outing where it was v cold, blowing hard, rained for the first 9 holes but the course was till in good nick

so poll time...

One round at Royal Ascot on temporary greens. However have had a lesson and several ranges sessions in between so don't actually feel that I've missed out that much

Hehaw, and not looking good for the next couple of weeks, but the range is open at St Andrews so will be going there a couple of times this week.

Sunday 11th Dec I think was my last knock....last time I went this long without a game was when I bust my hand in 99 and was out for 5 months.

Played 5 times over that period, only this Sunday has seen us on temporary greens.

We have got off very lightly in this area but we are forecast to be the worst hit over the next day or so unless, hopefully, they have that completely wrong.

Havent even seen the course in 4 weeks let alone played on it. Looks like it could be another couple of weeks before it will be open as well.

15th/16th December got a couple of rounds in. The way things are going Feb looks like the next chance I'll get.

Once at Vigs place on new years day.

Took a couple of weeks off in December to "relax" and do Christmas stuff.

Lesson for next year is that late night opening exists and get as much golf in as you can despite the weather.

13 holes at Pebble Beach on the simulator on 28th Dec. Otherwise nada. My wee skinny frame can't cope with these temperatures....and I'm guessing everywhere is closed anyway.

Caught 5 mins of Shell's Wonderful World of Golf last night and commented to my girlfriend that I'm sure I remembered what that green stuff with the flag in it was. Bursting for a game in the sun!

Played once. Sunday 13th December. Had to walk off after 15 holes 'cos I felt crap. Went down with a stinking cold/flu all of the following week which was great because I was on holiday from work using up 5 days which were owing to me or else I would have lost them. What a bloody waste.

One and we opted out of the comp for a £2 per man on 2x4 balls and I ended with 32 points the winner got 46! That was about 3 weeks ago.

1 game on 31st,temp greens when the course should really have been shut.Yellow ball required but glad I played now.
