I had an old Slazenger 3 wood that I bought second hand when I started playing 20+ years ago. That sat in the shed for 16 years until I picked the game back up in 2010, and boy did it feel it's age. When I could semi-swing a club again I went to Gainsborough and Ping fitted for a G15. My loyal companion ever since.

So I am one of the 1s!

Though I will freely admit, I have coveted my neighbours wood. Is that better or worse than his ass?

Ive had 6 and only been played since 2008.

Funny really because I went 2 years without using one.

Going for my 7th tomorrow could be a Nike

My 7th is now the TM R15 White 10.5

Having tried the Nike Speed the Nike Pro the Titleist 915 D2 and the above im happy
now I have a driver for a few years,why?because the misses said so.

Im sad to say as much as 3! And I have only been playing since 2010!

One which I had from my 1-3 rounds a year days with an overcooked spaghetti shaft, a Ping G15 which I grew out of its specification and my current XL Custom which I intend to keep around, the adjustability was bought to allow the club to grow with me as I get better.

I have not bought into this loft up stuff, yes I think it works but I would probably buy a strong 3 wood instead.

Just the 2, both Wilson Staff Superlight. The first was the lady's version with 14 degrees of loft that I hit far to high, so I got the men's 10.5 degree version.

I have had two, the first was a Cobra HS9 and I now have a Cleveland XL Custom.

Now if the question was "how many 3 woods" I could go on forever ...... about 10-12 i reckon.

Since I've been back playing it's three for me.
Started out with a Ben Hogan driver, then bought a Nike VR pro which I split the face weld on and Nike gave me a £100 credit with which I bought the Titleist 910 D3 that I'm using now.

I've had 3 over 4 years. I had my first 2 in the first year then got my r11. Had my dunlop tour 2 from my starter set then a md golf super strong ti driver which was great. I'm still happy with my r11 at the moment so will defiantly keep it for another year (might be persuaded out of it)
