Thanks for the commenst - this is what the site is about - good debate.
PLease note that i dont believe i have (or intended to) criticised BL at all in my commenst (apart from the little comment about goose crap) - i think i stated that "i really like BL" - all i was saying was that i personally though those specific courses had more . In fact i have a longer list of criticisms of my own course than i do of BL, but it doesnt mean i don't love playing there.

PS where are the 3 lakes ! Youve got what i sarcasticly called a pond on teh 11th, and then the big bugger of a lake adj to the 13th/14th .

I've only played one of the top 100, Royal North Devon, but I live within a drive and a long approach shot of 3 others; Worplesdon, Woking and West Hill. I hope to play all of them.

Lucky that living in Surrey that there are a lot of local ones for me. Also most have been by invitation from companies i do business with, so haven't had to pay many green fees.

8 is straight forward but you gotta hit the faireay and then the green, 9 is a class short par 3, 10 is classic heathland par 4, 11 is a bit dodgy but still 2 good long irons and 12 is either drive the green and make 3 or miss it and take 5....

Worplesdon has the egde on it's neighbour though I think.....

Been lucky enough to play 23 courses from this years list mainly in Scotland...hopefully pick off 3/4 a year to get the count up.
