A friend of mine in Scotland has just had VM fitted and his first speed test was
62.64 Mbps


I tested mine and got 1.41.

Through my landline it's just 1.25Mb but I've also got a mifi on "3" and i've just had 5.1Mb on that.

I only keep the landline one as it costs just £5 a month and we get free calls over broadband on it.

nah the buggers work on pre demand and as my estate is new and relatively private it has its own pcp (green box) with only approx 200 lines it isnt finacially viable I reckon.... would get VM but it ends at the top of my street so stuck with sky & bt

a lot of people have slower speeds than they can actually get through crap extensions and the like. just a heads up as a lot of broadband jobs I work on are caused by internal wiring/configuration
