My usage isn't really covered.
A baguette and a drink after the game - depending on time constraints - but that's it. It's not a "local" as such and I doubt anyone uses it as one.
Pop in after the game to have a natter and maybe a hot chocolate or occasionally a half of something stronger. Thats it really , dont do the social events and the prices are too high to eat there
I use it after my round, mainly to have a sociable drink and a bite to eat. I use the golf club more as an eating establishment and take the wife and kids up at lunchtimes more regularly than I drink tbh.
Apart from WhoGivesA and shooter_14 the majority at my club are not worth drinking with!
Use the bar after a round and possibly have a bite to eat too. I intend to try to use it for a meal with the wife now and again and looking at the size of the portions it's definately worth a try!
Always have a drink with my playing partners and then if the banter is good I might hang around a bit. I usually go home for food after a round at weekends but I do have lunch there is I have a 1/2 day and am going out the the afternoon. Food is pretty decent and the Sunday carvery is proving very popular
Yes indeed, I'm with you on that one. I'm getting to the stage now where I'm going to ask for a discount on my coffee as I drink about 4 cups in about an hour.
I still have the odd pint but we dont use the club as much now.
I dont drink but my playing partners do and we normally go into the clubhouse after most rounds.......
Mines a nice pint of ice cold milk and a toasted club sandwich.......Like carlsberg its worth waiting for....
Always meet in the bar before we go out, usually have a coke. Have a couple of beers after i have played and maybe something to eat if i feel peckish. Have a chat and watch football or rugby if its on. Play wenesday evenings, friday afternoons, saturday afternoons and sundays, which is usally in a comp.
