I read lots of threads on here where people advise that you should complain to the committee if you are unhappy about something or someone. Suppose I was being held up by a 4 ball that wouldn't let me through no matter what and had taken 3hours to do 9 holes, if I didn't know these peoples names and there are no tee booking times at my club that could be refered to how would you go about it?

Just for the record I'm not wanting to complain about anybody but as there are nearly 900 members at my club I think and I only know about 10 of them so far it would be a bit tricky.

All I know is......you shouldn't take it upon yourself to push your way through.

If I get held up really badly again and they won't let me through, I'll send an email to the manager once I'm home. Even if I don't know the names, I could give him their tee time and he would be able to work it out.

It depends on what you are trying to do. If you are complaining about slow play it helps to have dates and times and the names of the culprits (not easy on a pay and play etc). If it is about the running of the club or a decision they've made it needs to be put in writing and usually addressed to the captain or designated committee member (handicap, house etc)

Picture on a mobile phone is a beauty so I've heard............ even better if you skip the hole and take it whilst you're walking past.... :D
