Well done me duck, one of the things I like about a good par three tee shot is the stoney silence for a second or two when you know it is going right down its throat. That silence is a thing of beauty. Usually broken by a quite few words. Like "now then", " be good". Or what ever mumbo jumbo comes out. In my fourball, It is then quickly followed by a scream of "Ballax" when it just doesn't quite happen.

We have a hole in one kitty at the club. Has to be in a competition. Member got £500 recently which is the maximum club allows.

So what is the etiquette at your clubs re Bar bill? after a hole in one. I have known a bottle of whisky to be put on the bar by one guy at another club, but cant see that working ............. mainly senior ladies all driving home at 3.00 pm..........Maybe not :smirk:

I suggested I give a donation to the Lady Captains charity.

It was mentioned that a watch is given to anyone who plonks it in one, but as it was a non qualifying comp, (although cards are still signed and scores entered))........ I don't think this will happen.

Anyway No watch no bar tab I say!!
