Hi all,

Have you or are you buying yourself a golf gift for Christmas?

I am seeing the likes of Mizuno publishing the last day customer orders are available and so on(for xmas delivery). It made me wonder what lovely things people might be buying themselves to make Christmas fun.

What you got/getting?

Bought an M1 driver although jury is still out on it after 2 rounds.

Wonder if Santa could get me a 915 in time for Xmas

Just about to schedule an appointment to get fit for some Srixon Z545 irons...

The fitting will probably take place just a few days before Christmas, so I won't be able to put them under the tree, but looking forward to starting next year's golf season with a set of shiny, new, custom fit irons isn't too bad, either... :)

I love mine, really pleased with it now.

Should be receiving my new Orka RS1 blades later this week. Now that is a good xmas present.

Pretty pretty clubs!

I called and made a booking for some Miura wedges but HID said I could not have them unless I played more often! Out I went yesterday and played rubbish so might just stick with the current wedges and get on with just playing some more.

I'm finding that I get absolutely no feedback from it at all Sam, just a horrible clunk off the face. The 910 gives a lovely dull thwack and I can tell instantly if I've middled it or not.

Think the RS1 blades are the same as my PS9's just renamed? You'll love them, puts the 'buttery soft feel' Mizunos to shame :D

No feed back from mine either. Tip stiff shaft and a head with no feel. Luckily the ball buggers off hard and fast so I am not too fussed about the lack of "feel" in fact I think I quite like it.

I agree that it doesnt give a great deal of feedback, so much so i'm not sure if i've hit it good or bad sometimes. But i love the sound and flight is a lot better for me.

The RS1s are slightly different (not as shiny) as the PS9s, but regardless, exceptional clubs. Gone for RS3 in 3&4 iron. Had my heart set on the new RS10 that i've been waiting for 18months to get but the RS1 was just a better flight for me etc.

I've asked alex if he's going to wrap them in christmas paper for me when i see him on Friday.

Also got new wedges, but not sure i want to get them out before the spring.

You going to give East Devon open another go next year?

New (to me) set of irons, new batch of decent practice balls and a new book. The book and the new irons will be under the tree.

I think you do lots of eyeing up though hu... What you got your eye on this time?

This may be a bit more than eyeing up with a little fitting :D

Titliest 716 CB 5-PW
Titleist TMB 4

And I maybe looking at some nice shiney wedges to compliment the set :D
