Happy but Disappointed

Midweek Medal today and I shot a 78 gross, nett 68 - 1 under SSS.
But I left so many shots out there!

A double on the short par 3 2nd, a poor 3 putt on 6, a very poor 7 on par 4 11th including a thinned chip and a duffed one!
Highlight was an Eagle on the par 5 13th.

But the best bit was the 17th. CVG had a 40 foot par putt and I had a 45ft birdie putt.
And we sunk them both!!
CVG shot a nett 67 so is in for a cut to 14 too! Bad form just before the doubles tomorrow. I'll get cut .2 unless CSS rises then I'll be back in single figures.
All in all a good day at the office for both of us.

The same for me in the medal today. Round in 76 net 70 and never sank a putt. Not bad with 2 double bogies.

Not even close. That's the kind of thing that only seems to happen to the team I'm playing against...

Well done on your scores,however as for the length of putts i dont think are greens are that long.
