Haney and Woods split????

Gotan e-mail last night from a mate in the US saying Woods and Haney have split.

Think this has been coming for a while but have not heard anything over hear yet.

Anybody else heard?
 
Good, don't think Haney has helped him progress really !

If he had any sense, he'd get in touch with Butch again.

Played his best golf with that swing :)
 
BBC Sport are also reporting this. It is an inevitability really given the last few outings for Tiger. Interesting to see where he goes next - hopefully somebody that will reintroduce that fade to his game!
 
Not playing for the foreseeable, a bulging disc apparently. Reckon it was where Elin banjoed him with a 9 iron! :p
 
Haney has confirmed he has split with Woods on his website.

I dont know what would help Woods game the most a new coach, a good divorce lawyer, a good surgeon or self defence classes. :)

Thought the swing he won with at St Andrews 05 and Hoylake 06 was his best and where he needs to be again - in total control. Haney got him there so don't understand why he can't get him back there.
Hope its not a knee jerk reaction from TW, not Haney's fault all the mess TW has got himself in.

Maybe he's on the phone to Bob Torrance?
 
I think he should go back to Butch, he wont but I think the way he has tightend up big phils swing has been amazing.

I agree this is no suprise Hank has been on the way out for a while
 
Butch Harmon would be mental to go back to Tiger.
The wheels are rapidly falling off the Tiger Woods bandwagon. He is a sullen, grumpy, condom-less, conceited, boring, divorced, stage managed, pathetic, arse and the sooner he disappears up his own 4r5e the better for us all. we will be able to watch some golf without it being interrupted to see T W arriving at the course, TW talking to his coach, sorry ex-coach, TW kissing his wife, sorry ex-wife, TW putting on his shoes, TW walking to the first tee, T W teeing off and every shot until he finishes the round and missing the cut. :D
 
I'm pretty sure Butch Harmon said on the coverage of the Players on Thursday that Tiger had started going to Nick O'Hern's coach so sounded like Tiger had dropped Haney but hard to say. Either way, I'm not sure Tiger will benefit from any kind of coach at the moment. His golf swing is the least of his worries
 
Tiger needs to find a few friends who aren't afraid to tell how it is and not what he wants to hear(Michael Jackson syndrome) -should give Jesper a call
 
He needs to get a divorce sorted instead of living in a dead marriage, then he can get his life back on track and ultimately his golf game too. He has far too much going on at the moment to even try and play good golf, his head is in bits and no coach will sort him out until he gets his home life in some kind of order. Oh and just in case, Tiger I am available at £10.00 per half hour and you pay for the bucket of balls. ;)
 
I think he might well go down the Seve route and try a few. Not ideal as you get conflicting information but I can't see Harmon doing it full time now Mickleson's star is on the rise. I wonder if he'll give Leadbetter a go
