Game Golf - new launch

As a user of the original Game Golf, I have been e-mailed with an offer of the new version - to be part of the refinement and development, albeit still needing to pay £149. Anyone else had this offer and tempted?

It's not for me. I did like the original GG but information on the new KZN version seems sparse. If it was free for a while i'd gladly sign up, but can't see many takers for something that seemingly has a flawed business model (no subscription) and a chequered past, especially with competitors now established in the market (Across, Shotscope, Garmin).

I remember using Game Golf years ago. It was free, and I loved the fact that as long as there was at least one person in each group logging scores after each hole, you would have a live leaderboard for all groups. Of course, getting enough people to download the App themselves, and keep on top of it, was another story. So, it is definitely not something I'd pay for.

Would be lovely if MyEG continued to upgrade their own App, to do stuff like this. After all, it already can act as a scorecard for everyone in the group, so it would be good if it could do a live leaderboard. Especially as more people use MyEG App to submit scores for handicap anyway. However, given that they cannot even fix the App to allow you to make sure everyone is playing off the correct tees, I won't hold my breath.
