Handicap Change 2025

What was your HI at the start of the year 9.3

What is it now 5.7

What was the highest and lowest during the season 10.6 and 5.7

And how many Q rounds have you played 32

Start 4.6
Finish 4.8
High 5.3

17 comps.

Steady enough. Aim is always to try and get my 8 qualifying scores in the 70s. If I do that I'll be too far away.

Started 14.2
Lowest - 13.5
Highest - 14.8
Current - 14.8

20 rounds, 1 GP at another course, the rest comps at my home course.

Heading in the wrong direction, for reasons I won’t go into, I didn’t play as much during the summer and I’m only just getting back into wanting to play. It’s such a tough game and when your head’s not in it it’s even harder!

Just started lessons and a swing change, I’m hoping to get down to 10/11 by this time next year.

Gone from 13.9 to 10.9 in about 40 rounds. My current handicap of 10.9 is my lowest. I've been playing the odd nine around +4, so need to keep doing that for 18 holes and get into single figures. More consistency off the tee would help, sometimes it's harder to get the right tempo at this time of year as it takes longer to warm up.

Start: 10.2
Low: 9.6
High: 10.8
Current: 9.7

18 qualifying scores. Haven't been able to play much lately but was (and hopefully still am) heading in the right direction - most of my counting scores are in the last 10 and those are below my current index, with only a couple of higher counting scores dropping off in near future, so a good number of chances to improve it.

I think I was at 18 at the start, back to where I usually am at 16. No idea how I am this high. Hit loads of fairways off the tee. Usually about 230. I get loads of people questioning why I'm so high. Very frustrating. I think it's my putting close in.
Anyhoo,
16 cards in.

Started 11.9
Current 11.0
Lowest 11.0
Highest 13.2
Quals 17

Started improving over the last 2 months of the season. Won a board comp and broke 80 for the first time, but not at my home course. That was a big surprise as it was the first time playing the course and my game travels horribly!

Rained off? Crumbs where are you, Wales? It's been fantastic weather where I am. A local reservior has still not recovered and won't for quite a few months!!!!
West of Scotland, the general weather has been OK this year but not dry but competitions have been very wet.
