My sales manager followed him down there in his car (Saab Estate) to bring him back to the showroom.
He had got into the customers car and just thrown his own keys on the passenger seat in his hurry to get there and didn't realise he'd left his keys there until he got back to the showroom.

His new key arrrived from Mercedes and the customer has held on to his original. I think the customer has written into head office but I haven't heard anything more about that yet.

We had a team meeting with our manager who explained to us that he IS approachable regardless of what we may think and that his door is always open for questions..we MAY not like the answer however but his door is ALWAYS OPEN.Oh and just reminding us that the company annonymous (yeah right) satisfaction surveys are due and that he didn't want any negative comments putting in them or there would be trouble.
This from a man who has had 3 out of 7 men in the room on internal investigation and lost all of them. Why would he feel it necessary to let us know he is approachable when we all know if he could sack us all he would. KNOB!
