Rutland Water is a decent course and great value. The only issue it has is drainage during heavy rain and the volume of golfers of differing standards on it (it is a pay and play course with the option for a season ticket).
I had a season ticket there for the end of 2007 but then signed up to Stoke Rochford as is in better nick year round and is private members club
