With all the development and technology gone into golf clubs, I can only presume there is a similar amount of R&D gone into golf balls. So does anyone know what are the best balls for hi-capers and beginners? Is there even such a thing? We have forgiveness built into clubs, is there balls that have forgiveness built in?

At a guess, I presume softer balls, balls with more compression, are better suited to hi-cappers.

I would say the softer ball is better for the lower h/cap golfer, A higher h/capper would not compress the ball enough to get the best out of the softer ball,so I would go for something like the Titleist NXT or NXT Tour or Srixon Soft feel as a good starting point....
