Golf Random Irritations

In light of the additional information then if (for whatever reason) you wanted to play such a convoluted format then yes you could set it up on GG.

It’s a format that our Seniors play once each year. They try to vary their competitions, Waltz, reverse Waltz, Yellow Ball, Medfords etc all coupled with a season long eclectic and a Victor Ladorum. I’ve played iMedford with them, it’s not particularly different to playing any stroke play competition.

We are still very much in the learning phase of using GG and whilst we do get very good support from GG, we try to work it ourselves first, but struggled with Bogey and Medford set up.

Now I’m really confused. All my years playing and I’ve never heard of a Walt, Reverse Waltz or a Medford. Are these simply made up games or have I been living in a cave!

Yellow ball I get and there are several nuances depending where you play it and can be fun. Victor Ladorum is the only other thing I understood, but not as a golf format just from its Latin Meaning for Winner of the games. I think I need a lay down 😂

Simple variation of AMAM. First hole , 1 from 4 to count, 2 hole, 2 from 4 , third hole 3 from 4 to count. Replay. 1,2,3 as the Waltz rhythm.
The Reverse Waltz is as 3,2,1. They are a bit more tactical than a straight AMAM, as you can set up the playing order as you choose but then have to stiay with it.

I still need the explanation of how to set up GG from the drop downs for a Medford please.

Playing fantastic team golf in a scramble tee to green and then not holing a putt......
(Florida Scramble, winning score 52 - worst score 61 - 26 teams)

10 over gross for the front nine

1 over gross for the back nine

I used to do that a lot.

I was having a lesson and after about 5 minutes the pro stopped asking me to hit balls (nothing much wrong there) and the rest of the lesson was spent talking about how I approached my round and my mental attitudes towards my game. We boiled it down to dropping my expectations before going out and on every tee and to stop writing the winners speech on the first tee.
