Golf Random Irritations

This is still technically a golf irritation

Golf web belts that have a bottle opener inside the buckle (there's more than you'd think)

Who's undoing their belt to open a mates bottle of beer for him!
The Latin inscription on the stable belt of the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers ARTE ET MARTE, translates to "Twist to Open".

They are quite different things. Trackman is very technical, gives loads of different parameters and is used by pros when they are giving lessons. Also considered to be more accurate. Toptracer is less technical, but has more fun elements (games such as Go Fish and Angry Birds) for casual/non golfers. Depends on what you want as to which you prefer.

Trackman range is very different to a ln individual trackman unit you have behind you. I doubt many ranges have a proper trackman.

He was looking at the forecast for this week and next when he made that prediction, though it has only rained for an hour today and the next two days are dry and sunny, so we have an outside chance of getting something open.

Not 11 and 12 though.

What you see in the picture, besides water, is a bridge and a ball washer.

Wow....which course is that?

Billingham. On the other side of those trees in the picture is the beck and all of the rainwater falling on the farm land to the west is now cascading down a very swollen beck and as on this occasion spilling over and flooding 11, 12 and the 6th green which is around the corner from these two.

All is not lost though. These two holes and the 6th green are usually unplayable from late autumn until spring because they lie so low. The club has two par 3's and permanent winter tees and greens which come into play and form our winter course. This is measured, but nobody in their right mind would consider submitting a GP card on it, besides the only comps we have in the winter are all matchplay.
