Does the letter last a lifetime or do you need a new one each year?

Our club used to mandate carrying but we then put a path round most of the course to allow those who needed/wanted to use trolleys and buggies to do so. Everyone is happy.

None of the guys I know who have a doctors note actually saw the doctor, no appointment was required, just a request via reception, pay the fee and you get the letter.

It’s a bit of a palaver, but the fee which is generally £40-£50 will act as a deterrent for those who don’t actually have a medical issue but can’t be bothered carrying.

So basically, it's a tick box exercise with zero merit. You can probably print one off the internet, it's worth as much

So Doctors actually still even write. All mine is done printed now, though I still don’t understand the big words even though I can read them now
