Agreed! I have loved this 7 wood and they're actually quite hard to come by even second hand these days since the demand for 7 woods went up so much. This leaves you looking everywhere for your old one but you can’t find the exact same spec so spend 2 grand on 8 different models that are nearly the same but don’t quite work as well.
Then as soon as you find the same one the club you kept starts working again.

Fair enough. To me it just means a handicap wasn't obtained until at a decent level of golf. It's a bit of a contrived accomplishment
Well you don’t know this chap. He picked up the game very quickly and got that handicap in his late teens I believe. I’ll ask him on Saturday as we are playing together.
Yeah my very first h'cap at 13 years old was 8, back in the day, in 1971, under the h'cap system in place that's what my 3 cards i handed in gave me, that's the highest I've ever been, my current hi of 7.6 is the closest I have ever been to it.Your first ever handicap was single figures?
