Golf Random Irritations

Such a disengenuous post.

The companies you mention, like Disney, are publicly traded companies and PIF's interest is less than 1%. They are not "backed" by PIF, and the company does not choose who buys shares. That is a massive difference from an entity owned and controlled by PIF.
So you have no problem with their investments as long as they don’t exceed some arbitrary threshold— got it!

Golfers same handicap as me talking of hitting their 7i 180yds…🙄
Ah but at what loft is that 7 iron.
It's been a long time since it's been worth saying the number of the club you've just hit 200 yards....
All the number denotes is where in the pack it sits......rightly or wrongly there could be 10 degrees between 7 irons from different sets.....

We're open Carry only today...been raining on and off all day and although it'll be dry tonight it wouldn't surprise me of it's the same tomorrow...

Duffed my tee shot on a long par 3 recently. Never got off the ground, went about 100 yards. One of my PP’s asks “what did you hit there?”. Talk about a stupid question!

I holed 3 putts in excess of 25 feet today....all of them for bogey.

(I also holed 2 birdie putts from 12-15ft and missed 4 par putts from within 4ft)

I'm currently very irritated.

I wont reveal what I'm irritated about until tomorrow, lest I be accused of being a lowish handicapper with an agenda against high handicappers.

Hopefully I will be pleasingly surprised....but I'm not looking forward to tomorrows golf....and it will be the committees fault if my premonition comes to fruition.

But we can guess who'll tell you you're wrong and not understanding the data!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Teeing off on the 3rd on Saturday we have a view of the 4th tee and saw a buggy stuck on a slope totally off any path, this slope isn’t a maintained area so its rocky and wild planting
When we got there a couple of elderly tourists looking for help (being off-piste) the gps had locked forward drive & they couldn’t reverse further up the rocky slope either so it was just stuck

They didn’t know the screen could be used to call assistance or that gps would prevent them driving in restricted areas in the 1st place or how to proceed if gps does lock forward drive (its mostly to stop ppl driving too close to greens. Even after we got the auld fella back on the path he seemed determined to beach it again

I do wonder how much info folk are given prior to starting off

Had one of those annoying practice sessions this morning where 90% of shots do exactly as they're supposed to

Annoying because that's not what happened on the course last weekend and it probably wont happen when Saturday comes round
