GM's great big Open bunker competition

Please get your picks sent in by this afternoon (Tuesday) 3pm at the latest.

After that we will only have limited access to the golf monthly email so will not be able to accept the entries.

Regards

Doh! I thought it was just for rounds 1,2, and 3 so my total was for the 3 rounds. :D

Double Doh!!

I put the correct answers for all 4 rounds and the total for the 4.

Will I be D/Q'd?

We must be told

Mashie. Can't you find a ruling in the Decisions Book??

:D :D

No nothing. I returned a wrong score so must accept the consequences. :D :D

What if your 4 individual figures don't add up to your grand total? At least this way, the figures pretty much have to add up.

is the correct answer!

How? :D

You could have 4 individual scores and then a total that has been added up wrong. Or this way you have 3 round scores and the total , so the total will always be right and by subtracting the 3 round scores from the total it will give you an exact round score for the last round. It works , trust me ;)

EH ?? im with nikon on this.. sure if ya have for example say 3+3+2+3= 11 or if you have 3+3+2+?=11 then the ? has to = 3 .. does it not ??.. you cant allow for someone adding up wrong ..

Mike doesnt want to have to trawl through every post working out if each person has added their 4 rounds up correctly. This way means that he doesnt.

If you send in 3+3+2+3=14 then thats just enormous hassle for Mike and tbh he should just throw the email away. However if you send in 3+3+2+?=11 then he knows that ?=3 and alls good.

Ahhhh I get it now, that's a very clever way of not having to check everyone's additions, they could still add up incorrectly but would only be out of it for round 4 effectively, for example 3+3+2+?=95 meaning ? Is 87 which is miles out based on that equation but only really knocks you out of round 4.

Clever peeps at GM

P.s I put 4 rounds in so that's me DQ unfortunately.
