Hi gang, hope we are all well, nearly the weekend!

What’s happening with the GM blogs they have not been updated in ages. I love sitting down to lunch and reading them?

The whole website seems to be slow moving, mind you the season has not yet started so once the majors start I am sure we will get more info and news.

I enjoyed them GB72 but I meant in the GM homepage. GASP is one of the authors so hopefully he can enlighten us?

One of the replies I had suggested that the website was due to be updated in mid April so suspect it could all be on hold until then.

Hi all

the relaunch of the website is indeed back to middle of the April - the catch all technical issues has been quoted by the web developers as the reason for the delay

as for the blogs they have rather taken a bit of back seat as we have been so busy with issues - Clive Agran and Fergus Bisset have been updating theirs but the rest of us me most especially have been slack and old Bradley Dredge seems to have slipped off the face of the earth!

Good news is that we should have Bill Elliott doing one when the new site goes live and also a young Tour player who got his card last year Paul Waring.

by way of inducement for anyone forumers who fancy having a crack at writing one we do normally reward you with a bit of kit for your troubles

cheers

Mike

What do I need to do Mike? Quite fancy a shot at submitting my mixed emotions, highs and lows of a round in the life of me!

Is the reward only for the first one as received a great club for that but nothing for the second one. Would not normally bring this up but desperate for any kit I can get my hands on these days.

Homer wrote a great one, I don't usually read blogs but I have started and read Fergus Bisset's is great and a joy to read, I will catch up with them all whilst munching a chinese chicken butty once the dinner bell has gone.

I'd enjoy a bit of creative writing, with a junior perspective perhaps offering something different (or then again something others may find irrelevant and boring). What does the blog need to consist of and would it need to be a regular thing? I'm going to look at a few on the website after this post to get a few ideas.

IMHO - a younger person's perspective would be great to read. If you pop one up then i'll read it for a start!

Give it a go if you can.

Agreed, would like to hear the opinions of a junior especially as to how they are treated at their respective clubs. One thing I have noticed since I joined a private members club is few, if any juniors out on the course despite the fact that the club offers some pretty juicy discounts. Not sure what junior golfers look for in a club but looks like mine does not have it.
