Global Warming my *rse!!!

When I went past Stansted this morning it was blowing snow but not settling, that was at half 5 though so no idea what it's like now.
All good up here in Cambridge, just cold!

CK

Thanks CK.
Isn't it always cold in Cambridge in winter? Nothing between you and Sweden

Global warming melts the ice caps so "Climate change" just changes the place of h2o from the poles to over your head!

Our course closed this morning as well.

Didn't have any golf planned this weekend, but kind of think now I wouldn't have been out regardless.

Wish spring would finally arrive!

Genuinely feel sorry for anyone not able to get out at the weekend, hope it changes soon...

80 degrees forecast for tomorrow but the wind-chill will make it more like 78!! :swing:

After reading the thread about injuries on the ice I can see all of our courses being closed for a very long time.

Time to emigrate to warmer climes me thinks.... My bunker plays been shocking recently so a couple of months in the sahara might help. I hope you get free relief from camel poo.

im the eternal optimist when it comes to getting out golfing. clithero has to be in doubt now though. if we do get out, i fear for the scoring ! lol

just had an email, course closed until further notice, standing water and with snow forecast all comps cancelled.

Good cos its too bloody cold to even want to play tbh.

Anyone know if courses round Manchester are open? Hoping to play first thing tomorrow morning but not sure how much snow there is about as it never settles in the city centre.

Last week down here Woking way we abandoned our game due to the greens flooding... this weekend the forecast is cold and wet. So no more golf this weekend either I fear. However, it isn't raining at the moment... we can hold our breath!
