Driver stance ….?

That was an interesting watch might be worth a try next time I’m out.
But I watched a top 5 tips from Tommy Fleetwood and for driver he said you need to hit on the up.
No wonder golf’s so hard I’ve seen so many tips that seem to contradict each other 😂
The issue with much golf instruction, online, magazines, YouTube and even here I’d guess is they’re trying to often prescribe a one size fits all. So tips are so generalised and aimed at mass markets that eventually something will stick for someone.

In reality there what we should do is ignore all the outside noise and tips, go and see a professional that will evaluate what you have and maximise your potential through personalised structured in teaching. What Tommy said works for him and may work for others but we don’t generate his speed or centred strike pattern.

The thing this video highlights is it’s not a one position fits all, that he has him making small adjustments each time until he gets the spot that suits him as a player not the spot all coaches generically tell everyone to have it in. I think it’s a good ceos with solid advice.

What you may have done by following his teaching is found your sweet spot and that is what he’s trying to achieve.
Absolutely. What's good about this guy's advice is he explains clearly the reasoning behind using a particular ball position, he's not simply saying 'This is how I do it' he shows you the trade off with different positioning and explains how it can affect a tour pro differently than a club golfer.

That what I enjoyed from it and see as good instruction, there was no I do it this way or you have to do it this way. It was explained what the common fault is, how to address it and how to make the small tweaks with each swing until the sweet spot for the individual was found. Clear, concise and good coaching with proper explanations of the benefits of it for different players.
