I've never voted before, and had no intention of especially after that burd from the royal family won it, possibly the worst acceptance speach ever, especially for an award for "personality", but I'll be voting for Gmac. He deserves the recognition and it's great to see our sport in the spotlight

I am merely stating the facts,it is a total joke of an award.

Now if they were to call it 'Sports man/woman of the year' it may have some credence but as it stands at the moment it is a joke of an award that surely the winner cannot truly give a flying toss about.

Look back at the winners,Faldo,McColgan,Phillips (both),Mansell etc hardly a personality among them.

Can't see Gmac voting for me for owt so the 15p is staying in my pocket, these guy's play golf for a living. Just the same as the 8 hrs you and I do day in and out, who gives us any flipping praise? whats another sideboard dust magnet mean to them anyway? Especially one they don't earn off.

dont watch it, dont care who wins, as stated its a nothing award and just a big bbc love in... waste of license fee money imho (as is a lot of the tosh the bbc constantly punts out)

out of any then AP or Westwood as I have followed Lee for what seems like forever and always liked his level headedness and modesty

Never voted for anyone in this and won't start now. Would love to see GMac win but think McCoy will. Even the programme isn't as good as it was 10 or 20 years ago when there was a much more in depth look at each sport throughout the year, some very funny one off events involving some of the celebrities and a good five minute reel of bloopers. Now its all flashing lights, music and soundbites.
