I randomly cannot navigate the forum due to your Taylormade Gapr advert. Now, I get your need to advertise but is the desired result that users closing down their browser tab and starting again as it has become unusable? No, thought not.

Not sure who frustrates me more, Taylormade for wanting to annoy me so much or Golf Monthly for thinking its a good idea and allowing it!

This came back for me today, i couldn't even move to the next page without it kicking in, rendered the forum useless so ha d to re install an ad blocker

Its what I'll be doing very shortly, the irony that users resort to this as the ads are so intrusive.

I've just had to do the same thing as whichever item on a page I click on I end up opening the TM website. I've reluctantly installed AdBlock Plus, which puts me at odds with my 4 ball partner who makes his living from more responsible advertising.

Still, it's one less brand to worry about at the next fitting as TM have effectively removed themselves from the list of options. (y)

the ad location is totally at odds with normal use of the site, all they do is make people install an ad blocker. hardly great for advertisers

The real irony is that my 4 ball partner & MikeH meet each other at trade fairs & the like because he's in the same business. He discourages me from using ad blockers yet the GM site forces me to...

without an ad blocker i could not even look at a single tread, all i got was the TM website everytime i tried to open anything on here

There's either a new one coming out or they're struggling to sell them of they're doing "in your face" advertising 9 months after they came out....
Horrible looking advert for a horrible looking club.....
