Game Tomorrow

Looking at the forecasts it's not going to get above freezing for the next week or more. Going to have Perma-frost by then.
Feeling a bit reluctant to go out in those conditions again.
Maybe spend some time on the range but that'll be flippin' cold too, especially if the wind is coming into the bays.
Could be it till New Year....

Don't think i'll get any golf over the next few weeks at least 6" of snow fell during the night with amazing lightning storms and its still snowing, tried to get to work at 5 this morning but turned back as the roads were unpassable.

Didn't even bother ringing to see if the course was open this morning.
A glance out of the window at my frozen solid car was enough for me.

Today I have been mainly sitting inside and keeping warm.

woke up yesterday morning and snowing, and this is eastbourne, so played in kent, woodlands manor, interesting course, but greens frozen solid. snowed again this morning, so did not bother getting up.
try again wednesday
shagster :( :( :(

Played today. Winter League match, 15 temps and lost on the last :( Plenty of banter, some good golf, and only mild frost bite

So why were 3 greens okay to play on then?? :D

Three par 3's don't not have room for a temporary green as they are surrounded by heather. Hence only 15 holes.

The forked lightning was fantastic. Started at around 5am and was still rumbling about after midday. We have over a foot of snow lying now and all roads south are blocked. Police are apealing to drivers heading south to stop at Perth for the night. :(

I got woke up at 4.15 with the lightning flash and it was amazing roughly 6 flashes in a 10 minute spell hoping to head North to Montrose tomorrow but not looking good
