Forum pages in GM

returning the real world momentarily...
thanks for all those who have thrown their hat in the ring for the forum pages role. We are on deadline today and tomorrow so will come back to you all once we have put the magazine to bed with a decision on what's what

Back on topic.

I really look forward to the forum pages in the mag each month, and to do it as a volunteer, Homer has done a great job. Okay, I admit that there has been a few gripes from some, of which I can understand. However, it is a volunteer position (with wee perks occasionally I'm sure), but nether the less a volunteer position.

I like to wish whoever takes it on the best of luck, as I'm sure the job will have it's highs and lows. As for the rest of us, please don't be shy in coming forward with material if requested by Homers replacement. It can be tough on 'slow news days'!

I'd hate to see the forum pages dropped from the magazine.

Regardless of the circumstances regarding the new post, I'd like to thank Homer for his efforts in putting the piece together over the last number of months.

To the new guy /gal, I wish you all the best.

(I would have volunteered but my English isn't up to it, oh, and did I mention that I'm hopefully going to be quite busy with .............!) ;)

(Actually with the mods busy elsewhere, I wonder what I could get away with :p)

I missed what ever transpire over the weekend, but would like to express my thanks to Homer for his efforts in keeping the forum page in GM going. I have been lucky to feature in the pages photographically--apologises to all who had to endure my ugly mug--i also wrote a review for Homer.

Good luck to his successor.
