Hi forum, after my recent post about the stack and tilt swing robbing me of distance but improving my quality of good centre face hits,I have been putting in range time and using it on the course with good and unexpected results! My distance has returned (probably due to my lateral hip movement improving, and yes,my 6 iron is going about 165 again) and my improved shoulder position over the ball is really helping, but most of all,my fairway woods I can finally hit well! I really didn't expect this as it is often a fact that many struggle with woods using this swing, but I am absolutely delighted! The flying wedge drill has really helped(thank you Big Russ and Just One!) and I can't wait to go out and play more.Cheers forum, hope my happy rant doesn't bore you! I just got new irons too and they really suit me better, this is the most confident I have been about my game ever! Hurrah!

Glad it works on the range although we all know there is a world of difference between the comfort of a bay and the golf course itself. Go out there and trust the work you've done and play well with the new swing and new shiny bats and enjoy ripping it to pieces

Cheers Homer,I am fired up! My irons were decent when I played last week and I will grab a round tomorrow to test out my woods.Happy days!

The short game is what I practice the most ScienceBoy and is usually the best part of my game, I really can't wait to hit the course now! Woods have always been an issue with me and I usually suffer on longer holes.Confidence is so important in this game, especially on the tee,now I feel pumped, grrrrr! Thanks for your post bud.
