When the boat comes in, great choice.

And Alias Smith & Jones, I annoy the kids something awful whistling and singing this even now.

The old BBC Rugby tune was a good one as well.

Funny you should mention this..........
I watched all 3 Lord of the rings films over Christmas and can I remember one note of the music?
Nope.
What ever happened to the great film scores like Star Wars, Raiders, James Bond etc?

Dr Who

Lost in Space

Mission Impossible - the series

The Outer limits

Police Squad

The Prisoner

Randall and Hopkirk (deceased)

The Rockford files

Star Trek - original

The Waltons

NYPD Blue

told you I could go on:smirk:

Head Office has just reminded me of the unbeaten title holder of greatest film music....The Magnificent Seven [I usually get them on the golf course!]

Best film score has to be West Side Story followed by Oliver.
They just don't make them like that anymore.

One of the film soundtracks that I bought and still listen to is Natural Born Killers. Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction are great as well. For one off tracks I would go with The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. For comedy value, the chickens singing Celo Green in the latest Muppet movie is classic. Actually, forget the rest, was that has got me thinking about kids films and few soundtracks can beat Jungle Book.

Best TV Themes are on older kids shows (Dangermouse, Trap Door, Fraggle Rock etc and all on TV today).

Last of the Mohicans - end scene on the cliff where Magua gets what was coming to him *Spoiler alert*
