EXCLUSIVE PICTURES: TaylorMade Rossa Monza Spider Balero putter

I think it is B-E-A-utiful. I have a taylormade itsy bitsy monza spider and if that is anything to go by this putter will be amazing and it looks well nice cant wait till it comes out to give it ago.

As an itsy spider user I have to say I don't like it. I think it looks ugly and not sure it would fill me with confidence. I think the alignment aids especially on the original spider model were more than adequate.

There is a touch of the odyssey teron XG or sabretooth about it. I'd be interested to see one in the flesh (if GM want a tester!!) but inital reaction isn't good.

I think that its OK but I wouldn't give away my hard earned pennies for it. I know a few juniors that will have because it's the new TM putter, but I won't be one of them.

How much is it?

IMO it looks like the cheap copy putters they have for sale in JJB and the like

It just does not look quite right. You probally all have had a go with a Odyssey 2 ball which is very well set out nice looks then had a go with a 2 ball copy and the looks are just not the same

I imagine it would cost £120 although looks like a £15 quid putter

It looks like someone had been playing around with a spirograph and left the paper on a desk, only to be discovered by one of the design guru's who took the idea for themselves.

Too busy for me

I would certainly not be adverse to using the club if it delivers the results. Admittedly I've seen better looking clubs but a mallet is a mallet (none are pretty are they?) and if I am looking for a putter following its release I will certainly give it a try. I do like the Taylormade inserts from putters I have tried, so will be keeping my eye out for one as I don't / never have owned one. They do seem to put a good roll on the ball and the spider putter I used was certainly well balanced. I have certainly seen worse putters.

You better get an extra paper round Mono ;)

I can see why it is shaped the way it is, in pretty much the same way my Sabertooth is moulded, with all the weighting in the head and the way it is weighted it is almost impossible to twist the club face through your swing.

Thus you make more consistant putts and your ball, more often than not, goes exactly where you intend it.

Just there are, i'm sure, a lot more subtle ways to go about weighting said putter than this? lol
