What a complete waste of time and airspace!

Another has-been representing us again and all the votes will once again be a joke as politics run ever deeper into the competition.

Apparently Denmark are favourite.

Will you watch it?

God yeah -great night in with bottle of wine

Who cares that we score bugger-all? Europop is hilarious, and some of it is actually quite good
Uk take it too seriously

Word is Bonnie T is going to do better than Englebert - come last that is instead of 2nd last....

Waste of time money and effort.

Nobody votes for us because we don't like anybody and they don't like us.......

Watching the voting, absolute joke, talk about let's vote for the neighbours. However it is being saved by Graham Norton's acerbic commentary.

I'm actually quite comfortable with that ;)

Let's hope when we have a referendum on staying in the EU or not we get out and stop having anything to do with this pile of political BS. How the hell are countries like Israel, Iceland and Russia even in it!!!

It irritates me too that European countries like Iceland and Russia should be in it

I'd like to know how much it costs the bbc to cover this massive non event
It was never relevant it's even less so now, never was the term Eurotrash so apt

I wouldn't be unhappy if we simply said that we can't be bothered any more

Watched the whole thing with my wife and daughters. Son appeared later on to watch the scoring bit for some reason.

Gloriously trashy live television with Graham Norton ably filling Terry Wogan's boots and providing great commentary. Hilarious that he could often predict which country would get the 12 points from their heighbours. The musical interlude about Sweden which the hostess sang was brilliant. The production and staging was also very well done. Moldova, Greece and Denmark's entries were all really good.

On the down side, half of the contestants couldn't sing or were just plain weird.

What could be done to make it better ? Well, using the red button we should be allow to place and move a sniper's crosshairs on the screen so we can bump off the people reporting the votes thus stopping their pathetic attempts at humour and dramatic pauses.

Pretty much same as fragger and others have said nails it for me.

How much licence payers money is getting wasted on this Euro trash! No one votes for us because nobody likes us, we don't even care that we get no votes because we don't care that nobody likes us and see it as comical. We troll out failed pop acts, never beens or should be well into retirement tripe just to keep face and show willing. Even if we sent out the greatest act with an epic song we'd come pretty much dead last.

Would happily see us exit stage left and never bother with the tosh that is Eurovision again. It's the X Factor for rejects and countries that want to fondle each others egos.

I watched it and for the first time in forty years I thought if you were open minded there were a smattering of pretty decent songs. Thought the Swedish presenter was suitably tongue in cheek and had my money in Norway. Bonny didn't win because the song and singer were rubbish. She did her best but seriously past it.

HID and I enjoyed a bottle of Moët about half way through and both of us slept through until almost the end, must do the same again next year!

Why do we put either has-beens or no-chancers in for the competition. We have such fantastic tallent in this country like Adele and Robby Williams who could win it.
