England Golf - handicap card

just had an email through about this so clicked the link, registered, found my club and sorted.

Hopefully its a good way to avoid keep getting handicap certs for all my 0.1's in the near future when winning the volvo with Region3

Yeah I think so got mine about a month ago.
Although it doesn't state h/cap on it can check within minutes on a smart phone so can only make life easier IMO.

thats what I was hoping pb, saves hassling my hcap sec for a cert as he has to sign them and usually posts them out so notice usually needed.

Great idea, no more printing rubbish, abd you get some great discounts through the letter box

Had mine a month now.....great idea....can also check your handicap on line for when the HDID site is down..........(that'll be most of the time then........ :angry

I'd be surprised if this will do instead of a handicap certificate in comps like the Volvo etc.

Be interesting to ask and see what they say.

What would be nice is if you could print your own certificate from the site.

Had mine for a couple of months now.
Great idea so any club can check your handicap so no need to keep pestering your club for a H/C cert.

Had the e-mail from the club last month. Not registered as I dont have my new H/c yet. The club do say it will be excepted everywhere.

You're probably right about the need for certificates for the Volvo as you are dealing with individual golfers who won't have access to CDH to check your handicaps in the same way as a club can do for Opens.
Noticed that your club uses Handicapmaster/Masterscoreboard. Your club has the ability to set up Masterscoreboard to allow you to print your own certificate.

we have this facility on our club web site i can print it off or bring it up on my phone for verification in away comps.,seems that a lot of clubs web sites are not very good as most people on this forum have to use other web sites to gain access to this type of facility be it HDID or the like would it not be more beneficial if you had a word with your clubs to improve your own web pages.
