The EDF add is taking over the forum tabs. Click on 'post reply ' a person's avatar, forums i.e anything even remotely left or right and it takes you to EDF.
I managed to find a work around just to post this comment

this is where iOS 18 is a blessing, as you can now choose to hide distracting items through safari. Did that, and I could click links around the forum again!

It’s a shame that this thing constantly happens on the forum though

This problem is still ongoing via safari on my IPad. Totally unable to do anything without being sent to EDF website. Only able to post this by accessing via chrome app on Ipad

In my opinion it shows a complete lack of respect for forum users that this keeps happening
What's the phrase.?
Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, three times it's enemy action...
This is more than 3 times and I'm getting the feeling that they don't care anymore....
There's hardly any interaction from GM anymore.

And?
Both statements are true.
Whoever runs the forum keeps putting these ads in that prevent user access and that shows a lack or respect for us.
And there is very little interaction with GM anymore.

As is always the answer when it comes to ads - use an ad blocker . Every website , forum etc has adverts , unless you have some sort of paid subscription

Brilliant, an Ad has destroyed the usability of a forum yet again on my desktop. Noticed it on Friday afternoon, and still not resolved by Monday.

Golf Monthly seems to be the only site I ever go to that this happens from time to time.
