Dubai Desert Classic (Spoiler Alert)

Interesting that tigger hit a wood out of the bundu straight at a gallery, in order to get a drop near the green. If he had got a flyer, it could have been messy. It was there to be hit, and it's within the rules, but heck, I don't like aiming at people. It goes against the grain. Not tigger bashing, as I like watching him, but heck, that sucks.

Defending Champ Gallagher is on a bit of a charge! 9 under for last 9 holes and position A off 18th tee!
Now 10 under for last 10. Incredible play this week so far.

Scoring well when playing with Rory and Tiger last couple of days and absolutely gone off on one this morning.

All this when defending the comp. Amazing.

This Mornings Golf is...............S H O C K I N G .....!!!!!

Some poor stuff being played out there today , especially in the final group

Can only get better........I Hope...........??

This thread seemed to fizzle out a bit, somewhat like Rory's game. Well done to Stephen Gallacher for two wins in a row.

Fair play to Gallacher for bringing it home although the lag put to 4ft could have seen a play off.

Why I is it the main stream top ten boys seems to buckle under pressure yet time and time again people not used to being in the lime light full time deliver the goods when given the chance,

Rory was very poor today and had seemed to lost the plot by the 13th. No one seemed to want it and I thought Illonen might nick it by default at one stage. Gallagher seemed to find how to play after a poor round just in time

As a rugby loving Scot and Inverness CaleyThistle fan - well done to Steven and as Meat Loaf would say ..... Two out of three ain't bad!!

A bit of Karma for Caley from last year, fantastic second half to watch. Hope you go on to win against Aberdeen.

Back on topic..shocking lack of sports news coverage of Steven's win in the UK. Makes you wonder sometimes.

Golf is just a low interest sport. Majors aside, can't remember much coverage of golfers - UK or otherwise - winning tournaments.

I can't believe it is so quiet on this alleged golf blog for a great British win.

Judging by how quiet the forum was over the weekend guessing the vast majority of us were making best use of the sunshine weather!

There has been coverage of the win, on the news channels, even reporting this win should see automatic entry to the masters... Where I am sure any lack of perceived acknowledgement of his success will be more than made up for... Well done Stephen ... See, I've even spelt his name correctly ;)....
