Just downloaded Google Earth and going from Sunday & today which I just plotted I'm around 210 with my 3w with little roll at the moment.

Depends on what I'm driving with and what sort of hole I'm playing and how I want to play it.
Most holes I play have some sort of trap if you hit it more than 280-290 anyway so it's not often I want to hit it further. Many Par 5's can't be reached in 2 so there's no point blasting a driver to try to get an extra 10 yards - it's still not going to get me to the green.
With the 3w I can roll out to 250, if I hit a good driver it'll roll out to 270
Don't often hit a good driver so it's hard to put an accurate average on it.
As has been said, I'm more interested in what I have left rather than how far I've hit it.

If I smack a really good one, out of the screws, a "Sunday best" I can put it out there about 250. But I guess my average is around the 220 mark. I have collared a genuine 300 yarder once or twice. But I was younger then.

found my copy of AN.Other magazine from where i did consumer testing for drivers. My shout of 260 as a real world average was about right. The stats in the pictures were from the Belfry driving range which is uphill...

I've already posted by sub 190 so this is just an anecdote... I play with guys who state they hit it 240... often I'm not the first to play my second shot though!! ;)

Yes,Swingers an athletic build
Piemans big in width:D
Madadey big and wide:D
Banter guys:)

£10 is in the post mate!!

Swinger is surprisingly supple judging by his party piece.
Pieman is silky smooth, but sometimes struggles to make the carry over heather.;)
Madadey is a bit of a powder puff, as I managed to out drive him at least there times at Woodhall Spa. (He was about 6 up at the time though.:()

I have never seen any amateur drive as long as Swinger, although he is probably past his peak now.:p

Christmas didn't do my previously athletic figure (see above quote) much good. Recently got on some proper working scales and was not happy with the results but rest assured I am working to put this right! I live in hope the peak is yet to come but alas there are more aches than before.

I'm not going to put any figures down as my game is so inconsistant and has been all year that it would be pointless and inacurate.
My new year resolutions however are: Find the location of our practise area/local driving range, practise, warm up and stratch before every round. Plus the usual quit smoking, eat better, drink less and get fitter so don't hold you breath.

18 & 235

this is based on our 9th which is a 242 yard par 3 (off the yellows) and I am usually just short of the green with a decent strike - ocasssionally on if I get a decent kick on and ocassionally still have a good 50 yards to go

slowed it down a lot to keep it on the short stuff rather than try and hit a 250 - 260 yarder that could be literally anywhere !
