No handicap as yet, but I seem to hit it anywhere between 190-230 max, maybe, but mainly due to the fact I've not had my "driver" lesson yet so I'm kinda guessing how to hit it
My 3 wood seems to go just as far as my driver (200/210 ish) but easier to get it straight
Always said I'm not bothered how far it goes I'd much rather it was 50 yards less and where I want it to be rather than in the rough

21 hitting 250 measured on google earth. If I can learn to hit them straight then I will get my handicap down! My nickname at the club is animal as I can whack a ball a long way mainly off line though.

On our 7th, there is a cross bunker at 220 carry. I can just about carry it now, and carry it easily come summer. Play off 9. Run out? Who knows?

Had a go on the Google Earth idea. So I plotted where on an average summer day my drive normally ends up on every hole I use my driver. The outcome of that was 287 yards.
I also thought I would have a go at looking what my average is at my place by measuring out to the points that I get to when I really get hold of a good one. That came out at 306 yards. But that is going on a round of catching it flush every single time all the way round.

Good hitting when an average summer day is about 12 degrees, and pissing down
I think we did have the odd good day last year. Can't remember many but it was nice thankfully when Bob and Region3 came down to play.

From Google earth my average is sitting around 220 with my Sunday best coming in around 260. Carry is probably around the 200 - 210 mark. HC 22.

5 handicap. Not too sure about my average but my last driver fitting my average ball speed was 170.6 mph 9.9 degrees launch angle and 2400rpm back spin.

All the holes at my place that I use driver on are either straight into the prevailing wind or straight downwind. According to Google Earth, my Sunday best into the wind is about 240, best downwind around 285 but that was with a gale at the back and a rock-hard fairway, from an elevated tee. What a fanny...
