Nope, the ball must be replaced and its a one stroke penalty. If its played as it lies its a 2 shot penalty.

+1 for me, think an item on rules in. Latest GM regarding Charley Hull helps explain a little as well.
Funny how he looks at the caddie though!

You only need to read the definition of a stroke to know it's not a stroke. But like others have said, there is a penalty and ball must be replaced.

The player 'caused the ball to move', even though he didn't play a stroke at it. Therefore Rule 18-2 applies. The ball must be replaced and a 1 stroke penalty added. If you fail to replace it the penalty is 2 strokes.
