most people look that that when they wear them:smirk:

Normally I see about 30 yrds on average on the drives incl run and its about 15 yards for me on the irons dead. So about a club difference without considering wind. Ball will travel further in the warm air and of course you get some decent roll but remember the greens will not react the same as they do in the winter. So when you could attack a pin and it would stick or spin a lot in the winter you now have to allow 10-15 yard of run when coming in with medium long iron. Quite a lot to think about......

SE UK? what, 20 degrees isn't 'warm'?

try 5 degrees which feels like zero with wind chill.

Played Saturday in sunshine but V cold, a par 4 that is a drive and 9 iron was a drive and 4 iron with no wind:(

everything is bigger in warmer weather :smirk::smirk::smirk:

Monday was drizzle and 10 degrees, increased to 14 later but most of us kept the second layer on.

Yesterday and today were warmer so I'm rebuilding a gazebo rather that playing golf..... :( tommorow is due to cool and drizzle again, so I have a competition round. The weekend is back at 14 and drizzle - but I'm not playing anyway.

Anyhow, enough - the roofing felt should be up to temp so I can get on with the job...
