Dispute over handicap after result agreed

In a 4 ball match. If all parties agree the result after 18 holes, what is the correct situation if it transpires that one of the WINNING pair played off the wrong handicap?

By quite a bit now that the person has a proper hcp. Some quirk of WHS and not submitting enough scores I believe.

The system was wrong I believe. Everyone started the match in good faith.

It used to be that once the result was posted then that was it - not certain of that's ever changed

See Rule 20.1b(3). There are only two circumstances in which the Committee can consider a ruling after the result of a match is final.

Scottish Golf put an index up for them even though they hadn't put a card in for 3 years. Assume club failed to deal with it.
3 cards submitted now, index something like 6.2.

Must have been some improvement over three years without playing golf.

Sounds like the committee need to look at the comp entry requirements.

Had been playing I believe, just not playing medals or putting in scores.
