Darts

Understand that, but I can’t see him falling out of top 4. By no means am I a darts officinardo and it’s quite plausible that those who know more than me, could say Humphries has no chance, but I think he should make top 4
It's deffo unlikely as not only would he have to have a poor year, but both MVG and Clayton would have to have stellar years to take his place. MVG might still be capable if his personal situation calms down a bit but still pretty unlikely two guys can overhaul him as he has a good lead over the others for now, but will be interesting to see what the rankings look like come the next WC.

Whilst you mentioned MGV. I was thinking about this the other day. Has he stayed at the top (not No1) for as long as he should have. I personally don’t think so. He seems a couple of years ago to have fallen off a cliff and I don’t see him getting back. Bearing in mind he is only 35v

He never managed to beat Taylor in a WC final then ran into peak Anderson and Lewis, but he should have won more than 3 WC's when he was at the top IMO.

And he's deffo not been right at it the last few years, but he's been in lots of pain with the work he's had done to his jaw and all his teeth and now his personal troubles. Would be great if he could re-discover his spark and give the young pugs a run for their money over the next 5 or 6 years as his very best was awesome.

Manley back on the tour?? Thought he would be a bit old for the grind of all the players tour and euro tour events to try and get the ranking points he needs to try and start qualifying for big events again.

From what I saw of the crowd, the majority looked like expats.
Nathan Aspinall says he feels the crowd attending the Saudi Arabia Darts Masters "weren’t all there of their own accord”. The Englishman said he was "laughing the whole game" with Ilagan as the crowd got to grips with the rules of the sport, especially when they would clap when players had another two darts in their hand after throwing a treble 20.

I bought a dart board there on my birthday on the 11th and I have to say, darts is extremely addictive. Been hammering the board every day.
Just like a beginner in golf it seems easy but quite clearly it isn't. The game gives you enough to keep you coming back.
Again there's differnt grips, equipment and techniques.
Late to the party but having fun 😁

It’s something that is easy to lose an hour or two to. I have a board on a stand in the kitchen, so regularly throw a few darts when I go in there. Like golf, it can be as expensive as you like - but it doesn’t necessarily improve your game. Two of my mates have Omni systems. Amazing bit of kit, but not cheap. Download Dart Counter app if you’ve not done so. And maybe the Russ Bray app for the practice games.

I just nip to the garage and get a quick practice in.
Played my nephew two games using that app. He did the scores and we chatted over WhatsApp video. Hes been playing a couple of years so I've a bit of catching up to do.
I certainly want to experiment with differnt darts and will likely get a light at some stage.
The challenge of the game has drawn me in.

We have a Mission Torus 270 light, it has an open bottom section to make it easier for shorter people (the wife) to retrieve darts as it doesn’t block access. The light is brilliant and casts no shadows on the board.

If you’re tall then the Torus 360 would also be a good light and decent prices too.

We’ve got a smartboard which is great for interactive games getting everyone involved. But you can also play traditional 501 games with the auto scoring.

As above, you can get the Omni or Scolia systems but they are expensive and in some cases have subscriptions.
