Watching chisnall v evans , evans does not hang about !

Trouble is the standard of players from 5-25 is a lot higher than it was in Taylor's real peak.

You're right about the game with Anderson, he was playing very well that week too and Littler kept in touch and did the business when it mattered.

The standard now compared to 20 years ago is crazy. 100+ averages are the normal now. I remember the day when you could win the world championship averaging 90. But there is something about Luke where he dose the Phil Taylor and can rattle off multiple 12 darters in a row either getting him back into the game or putting daylight between him and his opponent.

Just a thought...

In today's modern age, is there any other top class sport where the score is hand written on bits of paper by people standing next to the players counting?

Oh, apart from golf :ROFLMAO:

But golf has maybe 156, or 288 in big amateur tournaments, competing so that's different, but just 2 players on stage and 2 people writing down the scores, manually working them out, and then tearing off bits of paper...What do they even do with the scoresheets?
