Darts

How on earth is Luke the Nuke only the 4th seed?

Not that it matters, but seems a bit skewed, there aren't 3 better and more in-form players in the tournament.

Although he is playing junk in this match v Meikle...

And all of a sudden he's put the pedal down and blown Meikle away. Just missed a 9 darter by the width of the wire.

11 darter, 10 darter, 11 darter to close it out.

Rubbish :ROFLMAO:

This kid is going to do a Phil Taylor if he can keep control and not let his sudden rise to fame to get the better of him. He has that thing that Phil had, the ability to just step it up when needed and go to another level that no one else can get near. I think the best thing that has happened to Luke is the game against Anderson at the grand slam of darts. Spent a lot of the game 3 or 4 legs behind and was even 15-14 down, but never cracked under the pressure and kept going and took the last 2 legs to win, Anderson did not hand them to him either. You can practice all you want, but nothing can replicate that sort of pressure and the way he handled proved to everyone that he is the real deal.

Cullen looked good today. He seemed angry for being written off which is a bit weird as he's done nothing for a year or so.

The match with Price should be a cracker.

Trouble is the standard of players from 5-25 is a lot higher than it was in Taylor's real peak.

You're right about the game with Anderson, he was playing very well that week too and Littler kept in touch and did the business when it mattered.

Gary Anderson gone, never expected that, but De Graaf was excellent, hardly missed a double.
It seems the standard is that good these days, that on any given day, anyone can beat anyone, no matter the world rankings.

Yeah the top 30+ players are very good and you cannot afford an off at all. Anderson was poor on the doubles, some big names gone already, Anderson, Wade, Smith, Noppert, Barnie, Ross Mith, De Decker.
