Courses in Fife area suitable for a lady beginner

Looking for a couple of easy courses in the Fife area to play with my wife. I've Played all the St Andrews courses, so am not too worried about playing them again. Really looking for some shortish but good quality courses where my wife a beginner can experience Scottsh golf

My mum was a member of Thornton GC and she enjoyed it. And £15 for a twilight game after 3pm, its worth a wander

You won't get much easier than Aberdour. Lovely views too.

Craighead is probably just what you said but Balcomie is a super wee true links

It's not a links, it's a field overlooking the sea. Whilst it's a nice enough course its way out of the price range of beginner visitor.

If you're looking for a hackers course near St Andrews then Thornton, Charleton, Elmwood, Drumoig and St Michaels are your best options. And there's also the Sthrathtyrum in St Andrews itself which is a nice wee layout.

The 9 holer at Anstruther is Ok,good value and nice sea views.
Its straightforward enough apart from 1 par 3 that has got to be the most difficult you'll ever play.

Good food in the clubhouse too :thup:
