Course Recommendations

Not sure Id compare the Hertfordshire with either course at Brocket Hall lol

I wasn't comparing them - merely humbly offering an opinion on a decent parkland course in the area. In Brocket Vs Hertfordshire, Brocket wins every time!

West Surrey would fit the bill. Lovely course near Godalming which has a lot of trees, and no heather. Cracking clubhouse as well. Course has had a lot of work done to the greens, and is now always in good condition. Definitely a 'hidden gem'

Blackmoor is a good shout. Foxhills is nice in the summer but I fear will be rather wet at the moment and so wouldn't be worth the money at this time

It was a little bit soggy but it did not detract from the experience. Just a few wet areas really.

Foxhills is lovely but I wouldn't be playing it for another 6 weeks ish

Out of the top drawer - Sunningdale and the Berkshire.

You might also like to check out Hankley Common, East Berks, or North Hants

Although I haven't played them, Burnham Beeches and Beaconsfield also seem to have a good lot of trees. They are both on my wish list.
