I went with the vouchers option - pro shop vouchers to me precise.
I never saw the point of equipment prizes - eg, new driver for longest drive. To me, if you are getting the longest drive, you are already pretty happy with your current driver, no?
At least from a pro, you have a variety of options for your winnings - towards new shoes, irons, glove, balls etc, or even lessons. Basically anything you want from the pro.
On the other hand, a tropy is always good - the money/vouchers are nice until they are spent, but a trophy for winner (and to hand on to next years winner) is a nice touch.
1st = trophy and vouchers
2nd = less vouchers
3rd = bit less vouchers vouchers
last = some crazy headcover that they have to use until the next event, or even a voucher for a 30 min lesson.
