Nearly bought CG16's before I was gifted my AP1's cracking clubs
Had a DST 17 high launch 3 wood when I forts started golf and I got rid of it because it had a stiff shaft and I was under the impression I needed a regular
Hit the CG16 tour not long after they came out at a demo at the Forest of Arden. Fortunately I had to go off and play the GM Centenary Final or I could have been going home with a new set of bats. Not tried the latest models as I'm happy with what I have. Would definitely look at them for wedges though
Another + for cleveland here I brought cleveland clubs when starting off had a driver but could'nt get on with it as very whippie so brought a second hand TW R9 stiff shaft
I also have a launcher 3 wood - great club off the tee
CG 16 irons, these are good also - up graded to a second hand set of CB 588 with stiff shafts
Only difficulty with irons CG 16's are lofted up a club so 5 iron is a 4 iron in 588's
Not forgetting the wonderful 588 wedges
They are also good value for money against some of the big names I think
Bought a Cleveland Classic hybrid 23 degree on eBay during the week. Arrived Friday, was busy this weekend so didn't get a chance to play a round but got to the range for 20 mins this morning.
Purchased the stock stiff shaft version and first impressions seem great. Was really happy with it on the range. Real test will be the course I guess. Very happy with the flight and distance I was getting.
Will probably buy the 18 degree rescue before the evening is over. Then to start looking at the 3 woods & driver
