Im I the only sado that enjoys cleaning there golf clubs?

Spent 1 1/2 hours cleaning/scrubbing the groves & wiping down all my kit.

Then a squirt of wd40

Nice shiny kit now ready for next weekend.

No not at all, I stop short of the water displacement 40th attempt (wd40) but I love cleaning my gear and polishing my shoes, to me it's as important as playing.

Don't know about enjoy... But I certainly give my clubs, as well as my shoes, a good clean after nearly every round... Then about every half dozen games I give the grips a thorough clean...

Look after your kit and it will look after you...

I to enjoy cleaning my clubs getting the unwanted dirt out of every nook and cranny and make them look perfect again. I use a mixture of a hot water sponge along with Dr Power from JML it's a match made in heaven!

Mine get the toothbrush treatment about once a month. I give them a good wipe after every shot played so they stay fairly clean until the end of the month then they come home from the club for a good clean.

clubs and shoes are cleaned after every round. Warm soapy water and an old toothbrush. Grips clean every few months.

I always looked after my sports gear from the time i was a kid. My father ensured myself and my brothers cleaned our football boots after every game, including washing the laces, never broke a lace as a result.

had my irons over a yera and never cleaned the grips  to be fair ive never even thought about it.

To clean my clubs i just have a bucket of cold water dip the head in then scrub with a brush that you would do the dishes with then quick wipe with towl and leave to dry in the sun properly.

As for shoes whats the best way for cleaning as just got some lunar controls in white so really want to keep these looking new as possible for long as possible.

One of the best tips I have picked up from the forum is to give white shoes a good wipe over with baby wipes as soon as you have finished your round... Apparently it helps stop the dirt getting ingrained into the leather...

HTH

i clean before and after each shot - i must admit i find it odd that others dont given the importance of clean faces/grooves to a solid contact and good flight/accuracy?

I'm a bit lazy...get the clubs in the house for a good scrub every 2 weeks - i love picking out the dirt with a cocktail stick...so satisfying

shoes i normally clean once a week - did two pairs yesterday - changed the cleats and everything! ;)
