Merry Christmas everyone, hope you all have a cracking day

We have had to relocate from leafy Buckinghamshire to Swansea where my partners daughter is working on the pantomime.

She would have been on her own otherwise,

Went to the panto last night followed by dinner at a really nice restaurant (The Welsh House if anyone is interested)
Currently feeding pigs in blankets into the air fryer, huge buffet style food arrangement, no turkey, roast spuds or a sprout in sight.

Got loads of wine, whisky and Prosecco so it’s going to be fine

Seeing all my girls and 7 month old grandson on Saturday to celebrate me turning 64,
Still 3 years to go until I get my pension

I was going to cook everything in the airfryer but the turkey crown is too big so it's in the oven. Just means it will take longer to cook annoyingly.

Oh that old Joe Pasquale classic

Thankfully A he didn’t sing it
And B I don’t think she is aware of it

Classic moment, Joe P was on telly last weekend, Elaine said that she can’t stand his voice and switched channels

I then took great delight when I told her that he was the star of the Swansea Panto, which we saw last night.

Her face was a picture…..mega chortle

Truck free you wish. I drove round the M25 an hour or 2 ago and plenty on trucks and tankers.

Christmas miracle right there

Woke up to find a message saying next door neighbour had had a heart attack at 3am. His wife drove him to hospital as it was a 5 to 7 hour wait for an ambulance.

He's OK and sat up in bed chatting. Quite a scare. Done some ferrying around, so no drinking all day. I'm on standby in case I need to do any more runs.

Bit of an odd day... thankfully no worse news than that.

probably one of the best Christmas days I have had for as long as I can remember. Surrounded by family,Flogged me guts out in the kitchen making dinner.Had some lovely thoughtful pressies.

And there is the true spirit of Christmas,‘putting everything aside to help someone in need. Hope your neighbours doing well and pulls through with no on going problems, and take a well earned rest and drink when you get a chance.
