The difference between cats and dogs. Dogs just react to the excitement and unwrap with gay abandon. I did once make the mistake of trying to help a new rescue open his food-based gift. It didn't end well

To be fair our cat is ridiculously dog like in how he seeks attention, hunts and begs for food and in the way he plays it’s very odd but also endearing. I just don’t get buying pets Christmas presents but then Mrs M says he’s just a baby and needs presents on his birthday and at Christmas like any other child
